The RMNCH+N Technical Working Group meeting, held under the leadership of Dr. Farhana Memon, brought together a diverse range of stakeholders to advance maternal and child health initiatives.
Dr. Memon highlighted the importance of understanding professional midwifery practices and their vital role in improving health outcomes.
Dr. Rafat Jan, President of the Midwifery Association of Pakistan (MAP), emphasized the need to promote the visibility of practicing midwives and acknowledged the exceptional support of the Sindh government and donor agencies in strengthening midwifery education and practice.
