Dr. Rafat Jan, President of the Midwifery Association of Pakistan (MAP), alongside national leaders including the Director Generals of Nursing (DGNs) from Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Balochistan, the Principal of Multan, an ICM Board Member for the EMRO region, and MAP Board Members, led the dissemination of key initiatives of the Midwives Alliance of Asia (MAA).
In her address, Dr. Rafat outlined the mission, vision, and declaration of MAA, highlighting its significant role in advancing midwifery practices across Asia. The DGNs, recognized for their leadership in nursing and midwifery education and practice, actively engaged in discussions on strengthening collaboration and fostering professional growth within the region.
